Shopping Local

October 10, 2016

It might be a little early to think about, but that holiday season is right around the corner. We did a little planning ahead for you this year and came up a list of some of our favorite spots in or near Ferguson that might just have that perfect gift you’re looking for. Don't live anywhere near Ferguson? Some of these shops will deliver to your doorstep.

Corners Frame Shop and Gallery — yes, they can take that print you have and matt and frame it for you but they also carry an array of local artists’ creations. From necklaces to cards to books and more. It’s worth checking out who they’re currently featuring.

Natalie’s Cakes and More and Cose Dolci — need something sweet to bring to a party? You can’t go wrong with either of these fine bakeries. Don’t live in the region? Not to worry as Natalie’s Cakes can deliver a couple of their mouth-watering desserts anywhere in the U.S.

Ferguson Style and Spa and Exotic Trenz Salon and Spa — need to treat yourself before the holiday parties begin? From nails to hair and more, get in your spa treatment soon.

Almost Picasso — you might want to book your holiday friends get together or small office party here now before they fill up for the season. Have fun while bringing out your inner talent and impressing yourself and your friends or co-workers.

Ferguson Bicycle Shop — yup, bicycles and anything bike-related. But so much more. This shop has been in Ferguson for six years and supporting the area just as long in a variety of ways; check out their apprentice program for one.

Fashions R Boutique — from handbags, accessories, dresses, shoes, hats and more, this shop has it all.

Paw Purfect Grooming Salon — your favorite pet needs a holiday grooming, too.

We could go on and on listing dozens of places to shop in or near Ferguson this holiday season. But you get the idea. Take a day, or just a few hours and visit a part of an area near you, where ever you may live and get to know it a little better, spend a few dollars and help support your neighbors at the same time.

And remember, when purchasing our award-winning children's book or coloring book, the profits go to help organizations in Ferguson and the surrounding communities.
